Toshiba Satellite with WiMAX

The new Satellite U405 uses the WiMAX technology enabled by the Intel Centrino 2 processing technology, as part of the Intel WiMAX/Wi-Fi Link 5050 Series, codenamed Echo Peak. Also called pre-4G, the new wireless connectivity enabled mobile broadband speeds on laptop computers.

Toshiba Satellite U405-ST550W allows you to transfer files at high speeds, wirelessly, perform intensive Internet applications, initiate live video conferences, watch mobile TV, stream media, and other things, all without the need for hotspots.

Toshiba’s new enabled laptop features Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, eSATA/USB Sleep-And-Charge Combo Port, built-in web camera with Face Recognition technology, 320GB HDD drive, 4GB of RAM memory, and a 13.3-inch widescreen display with the TruBrite technology. It will be available at the ToshibaDirect online store.
